Introduction

Monument Valley is a puzzle solving game developed by ustwo, which has won the hearts of gamers around the world since its launch in 2014 with its unique art style, sophisticated level design and engaging storyline. This game brings players a feast of beauty in terms of visual and auditory sensations that will make them linger.
Monument Valleys game graphics use simple geometric shapes and red, white and blue colors to build a fantasy world full of mysterious colors. The games buildings and scenes are inspired by famous real-world structures, such as the Egyptian pyramids and the Hanging Temple in China, while at the same time incorporating elements of surrealism, making it seem as if you are in a dreamy labyrinth.
In the game, players will play a small princess named Ada, in order to seek forgiveness, embarked on a journey to return the sacred geometry. Ada will need to travel through one mysterious complex after another, solving the puzzles hidden therein in order to move on. The game features ten chapters, each with a unique theme and challenge.
Monument Valley is simple and easy to understand. By tapping and swiping the screen, players can maneuver Ada to move and rotate the buildings in order to find the way to the end. In this process, players need to fully utilize their spatial imagination and logical thinking in order to pass the level successfully.
In addition to the beautiful graphics and music, the storyline of the game is also quite meaningful. During her journey, Ada will meet various mysterious characters, such as the Raven Man and the Totem, which will assist Ada in accomplishing her mission. In the process, Ada not only learns to forgive others, but also forgives herself, sublimating the whole theme of the game.
Players control the protagonist Ada to travel through the dream architectural scenes. These buildings seem to defy common sense, with a variety of fantastic geometric shapes and spatial layout. For example, the player encounters a passageway that appears to be a dead end, but by rotating a part of the building, the misaligned paths are ed together to form a new path. Ada walks and climbs between these buildings, and each step is solving a spatial puzzle.
The games levels are uniquely designed, each one an individual work of art. There are also a variety of mechanisms and props in the scene, players need to skillfully use them to push Ada forward. For example, some organs need to be triggered at specific points in time to open up hidden paths; while some props can help Ada cross seemingly insurmoun gaps.
During the exploration process, players have to constantly adjust their perspective. Observing the building from different angles will reveal hidden passages or new puzzle ideas. Sometimes a seemingly ordinary wall will become a door to another area after switching perspectives. This in-depth use of perspective greatly enhances the fun and challenge of the game.
Moreover, the games plot unfolds gradually as Adas adventure unfolds. Every action of Ada and every puzzle she solves pushes the story forward. While enjoying the fun of solving puzzles, players can also immerse themselves in the plot rich in depth and mystery, as if they were in a mysterious and beautiful otherworld, on the way to solving the architectural puzzles, and continue to explore the story behind Ada as well as the truth of this marvelous world.
